How to Use
Upload the original PDF as File A and the modified version as File B. Select a comparison mode: Side by Side to view both documents simultaneously, Overlay to blend them at adjustable opacity, or Difference to see only changed pixels highlighted in red. Navigate through pages using the page controls. Adjust diff sensitivity to filter minor compression artifacts. Use Swap Files to reverse which document is original and which is modified.
Common Use Cases
- Legal teams comparing contract revision versions can upload the original and revised agreement and use Difference mode to instantly spot every changed clause, deleted paragraph, or added provision across all pages.
- Print production managers verifying that a revised PDF proof matches the client-approved original can use Overlay mode to check for unauthorized layout shifts, font changes, or color adjustments before sending to press.
- Regulatory and compliance reviewers comparing submitted documents against the approved template can use Difference mode to flag any deviations from the required format or content.
- Software developers comparing exported PDF reports from different application versions can use this tool to detect regression issues — layout changes, missing data, or formatting differences introduced by code changes.
- Quality assurance teams at translation agencies can compare the source PDF against the translated PDF in Side-by-Side mode to verify that all text blocks were translated and no sections were inadvertently omitted.
