About Yahtzee
Yahtzee is a classic dice game by Milton Bradley (1956). Roll five dice up to three times per turn to achieve scoring combinations. Strategic decisions about which categories to fill make every game unique.
How to Play
Roll all 5 dice, then click any dice to hold them before re-rolling. You get 3 rolls per turn. After rolling, click a scoring category on the scorecard to record your score. Fill all 13 categories to end the game.
Tips & Strategies
- Aim for the 63-point upper section bonus — it's worth 35 extra points.
- Go for Yahtzee early — it scores 50 points plus 100 per bonus Yahtzee.
- Use Chance as a dump for bad rolls rather than wasting a good category.
- Large Straight (40pts) requires 5 consecutive numbers — prioritize it early.
- Hold high-value dice and re-roll the rest to maximize your scoring potential.
